About the Artist

Hello, my name is David Guidas. I live in Pennsylvania, USA and am an avid photographer and guitar player.  I like to shoot fine art (for lack of a better term) photography and am constantly experimenting with various procedures and equipment. I try not to limit myself to one style or subject. My focus may be on abstract one day and nature or architecture the next.

As for guitar, I play mostly blues but dabble in jazz, rock, acoustic, or anything else. I enjoy it all as far as guitar music goes. Like most guitarists, I like gear, but I’m not obsessed with it. Whatever works for the job is fine with me. I am inspired though by all of the personality and tonal options that various guitars bring. As with my photography, my music had also taken a back seat while I toiled away at my normal “day” job. I have jammed and collaborated with a few talented musicians in the past and I’m looking forward to doing that again.

    David,
You’d be surprised if you take 1 square inch of anything on Earth and focus on it you will definitely find beauty. That the secret of Nature. It’s a fractal of beauty, the right place to live and care. Your photos prove my theory!
    Good work!

Thank you so much. I really enjoy it when my photos connect with people. It means a lot to me, considering how I try to have a different vision then the norm. I apologize that my output has been a little slow lately. I’ve been dealing with orientation on a new job and it’s been consuming my days and restricting my exploring but I’ll, hopefully, get back in a shooting routine soon.
