365-120 Met the quota

I can’t really say that I couldn’t find much to shoot today because I did.  I shot this fence picture earlier in the day just to get something “in the can”. Good thing I did because it was pretty bleak afterwards. I wanted to find some textural or abstract shots but couldn’t find anything until the light got too low. I drove behind a strip mall, where the loading docks are, and found a piece of machinery with wonderful color and rusty detail. I tried a few shots but had to use a high ISO and still got too slow of a shutter speed to work with hand held at the aperture I wanted. But the shots made for a good composition check anyhow and I’ll be able to try again in better light. So for now, enjoy the photo of the day!

I like the juxtaposition of the hard gray wood with the softness of bright green color of the leaves.

Thanks. That’s what attracted me to the shot also.

Glad you “met the quota” as this one turned out nicely.
