Another backlighting picture today. My wife actually spotted this church steeple as we were driving by. The sunlight streaming through the stained glass cupola enhanced the bold colors and created a nice effect. Pentax K20D, DA17-70

I thought i would stop by since you were so kind to compliment me on my work. This is an awesome photograph. The blast of color in the church just jumps right out at you. Also, I normally hate contrails in a photograph, and I have junked some nice ones, but you have so many the effect is actually pleasing.
Thanks for stopping by. Yeah, it was an “in the moment ” photo so I had no control over the sky. Busy night at the airport I guess.
