Another day of not shooting anything until late. This is a stump in my yard that I really need to get rid of someday. It’s just rotting and I always hit it with my lawn mower, chipping away at it a little at a time. None of these shots are award winners technically. I had to use a high ISO and large aperture because it was getting dark and I was hand-holding the camera. I decided to process these in black and white split-tone for a consistent look and it seemed to give the old wood some character. Or, maybe I’m just crazy. All with Pentax K20D and DA17-70.
