Thought I would do a fake painting shot for today. Really fake – even the fruit is plastic! My Rembrandt lighting consists of window light from almost straight on. I was just doing a lens test when I shot the fruit and afterwards I thought it would make a good textured shot. The original picture didn’t turn out too bad considering I shot it handheld for 1/6 sec. @ ISO 1600 at 150mm. I wasn’t really planning on using the photo for anything. I kept it simple with a slight punch from Topaz Adjust and layered with a couple SkeletalMess textures. Pentax K20D, DA55-300.
