365-89 Fun, well not really, with plastic

Today started out bad and kind of destroyed my mood for the day. I didn’t go out to shoot anything so I had to look around the house. My wifes plastic hair clip was sitting on a table so I tried some macro shots of it. All shots were done with a Super-Takumar 50mm, wide open except for the last overall shot which was shot with my DA17-70. I decided to try some different processing on a few shots, adding grain, toning, vignettes and even a solarizing effect just to mix things up a bit.

Really cool, abstracts. A refreshing few of something that can be so mundane.

I really like the second one. It has excellent DOF, and very nice tones and detail. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Brad. See what you’re missing up in the mountains 😉
