Well, the cows are black and white! Took a quick drive through the rural parts of town. The late afternoon sunlight was beautiful and enhanced just about everything. I got a few pictures of the cows before the sun hid behind the hills. Both shots are simple portraits so I don’t have much to add technically. Pentax K20D, DA55-300.

I love that first image. Coincidentally, I took a different way home from work on the 10th (after three years going the main roads). The new route is entirely rural and mostly dairy cattle farms. The entire time I was thinking about making a return trip and hanging my camera out the window with a telephoto lens…
