Still experimenting with intentional camera movement (ICM). I know it’s the second day in a row using this technique but it is helping my creativity some. This evening I focused on my neighbors flowers. I was going to try a shot at the ostrich farm but just couldn’t get myself to hop in the truck and drive over. Besides I was in the mood for at least a little bit of color. This was taken with my Pentax K20D and DA 55-300 lens. I also added the Cokin ND4X and polarizer filters. This is a handheld 1.3 second exposure. Obviously I had to try a few shots before capturing what I wanted. I decided to go with a square crop to eliminate some excess green on the bottom and for an overall better balance.

Keep at it. No one ever knows what is too much until you cross the line so I say keep going. I’m liking the recent run of experimenting.

Thanks AW. Crossing the line – that’s where I’ll know I’ve overdone it!
That’s how I usually know but it is sometimes the only way I learn
