365-193 At the waters edge

I waited until evening to take some photos today. I thought I would stop by a local lake that is a popular fishing area. I experimented with moving camera, slow shutter techniques and even did a few straightforward sunset shots. Most of my photo attempts were unsuccessful but I walked away with a few keepers. I am also trying a trial of Nik Color Efex for a few weeks, so I’ll be playing around in the processing department looking for some new ideas. Hope you enjoy them! Pentax K20D, DA55-300,DA17-70.

I had found your site via flickr and just thought I’d let you know I appreciate your work. Great art. Thanks for the inspiration as I venture into this online photoblog biz.

Thanks for swinging by Matthew. I’m glad I can be an inspiration for you. Good luck on your project, I’ll be swinging by on occasion to check it out. Relax, have fun, be creative, and learn from each day.
