365-213 The other side of the landfill

As a response to my earlier landfill nature post (365-207), I thought I would show some slightly different landfill photos. I’m on a different site than the one from last week that’s not as “woodsy” as that one. There may be some nature around but I didn’t get a chance to explore the site much. Sorry about my 365 shot being so creepy. I stopped my truck on a haul road and spotted the doll head laying on the road. I just lowered the camera and shot blind and amazingly it was exactly how I imagined it would be. The other shots are just things I saw during the day. Not very artsy. Pentax K20D, DA 17-70.

Wow, I can’t get over how spectacular these photographs are! I can’t decide which one I love more… the first or the last.. probably the first because there is more depth to it but I love the patterns in the last as well. Bravo. Great work! So glad I stumbled upon your blog!

Thank you Polly. I’m glad you like my work. Making an interesting image out of the things I see, good or bad, is always a challenge. Feel free to look around in the archives. In the mean time I’ll be swinging by your place.
