Besides the fact that you can choose between black and white or color whenever you want or that you can shoot a wide variety of ISO’s to fit the situation, you can also go wild in processing a photo, if you choose. I probably wouldn’t normally choose to do such image manipulation but when your back is against the wall you start swinging. I saw my neighbors tomato plant when I was mowing my lawn (I’ll refrain from calling it “grass” because it’s mostly brown weeds this time of year) and thought I would try to get a photo of them later in the day. Well, later in the day came and I took some photos but they didn’t really look like I imagined. The focus points were wrong, the bokeh just didn’t work out, and I couldn’t get a good composition at all. Of course, by then it was too late to try to find another photo. Best laid plans, I guess. But, have no fear, digital manipulation is here! I hope you like it. Processed with a little Topaz Adjust, a little orton effect, a little more Topaz, etc., etc.. Since I’m a fan of 60’s psychedelic rock, the title sounds like a nice band name (if it isn’t already one).

Electric Tomato
I do like the post editing lights and shadows that you’ve done on this photo. Very nice.
Thanks. It’s fun to push the boundaries on occasion.
