365-231 Wheels

I often take photos of old cars because, well,  I like them. Not nicely restored cars at a show but old, aged, weathered cars. There is something about the lines of old automobiles that I find interesting mixed with the patina of years of neglect.  But I came across an even earlier form of transportation today for my 365 photo. I have to give credit to my wife who saw the bikes first. We were driving through a town and she looked down an alley and said there were “some old bikes hanging from a roof.” Without hesitation and without seeing them, I made the next turn to go check them out. I am glad I did. I think they look pretty cool. I thought I would do a black and white version to show only the basic essential elements. I added a copper toning to enhance the vintage vibe a little.
