For some reason I usually don’t crop a photo different from its native format. On rare occasions, I may do a square crop but I seldom do a “freeform” crop, even though it may be the best thing for the composition of the photo. But after I processed this image and saw all of the wasted space above the bales I wondered what it would look like if I simply cropped it out. Guess what? It worked! Looks like I won’t be ruling that out in the future.
