While wandering around downtown Pittsburgh, I came across this art installation. It’s part of Project Pop-Up and I think it’s a creative way to use vacant store fronts, whereas in the town I live they would just put a display of lawn tractors from a local dealer. I love this kind of thing. To me its part of what makes city life fun. Although I find “art” in just about everything, it’s nice to see some on purpose installations. The screen in the first pic is an actual moving video of the audience watching a show, eating popcorn, etc., complete with “down in front” motions as you walk by. Fun stuff.
So, this post is not so much about my work but just showing the work of others.
Very creative use of a store front. Thanks for sharing 🙂
