It’s been a while since I’ve posted and I thought I would give an update on where I’ve been. I visited a doctor about the pain I talked about last time. Tests came back negative and it ended up being some type flu bug. Soon after those symptoms went away. However I still had pain in my shins and it kept sticking around. Went to the doctor again yesterday and I found out I have “medial tibial stress syndrome”, or better known as shin splints. It’s a muscular thing and can be very painful and uncomfortable. But I was prescribed some anti-inflammatory meds, which took the pain away thankfully, and some physical therapy for a few weeks, which should clear me up for good.
I feel way better now but I haven’t been shooting too much, just trying to take the time to rest, physically and mentally. However I did swing through the local park on Sunday to see if there was something of interest to shoot, just so I don’t get too rusty 😉 . I didn’t want to walk around too much so I stuck around the parking area of the tennis courts, and they were looking lovely as ever, as you can tell by the first pic. Not too exciting but, hey it’s a start!
These were both shot with a Pentax K30 and DA18-135 lens that I was trying out.
Glad you’re on the mend!
Thanks…and you too!!
