It’s Independence Day in the USA, or as better known, the Fourth of July. With that comes picnics, hotdogs, partying , some flag waving, and, of course, fireworks!! A totally unoriginal shot for today but, eh, it’s a holiday and I didn’t want to break up the theme. a real live fireworks photo taken just moments ago. Display courtesy of the local casino.
I did not have a tripod with me because I wasn’t planning on viewing any fireworks, let alone taking any photos. But on a whim, my wife and I decided to stop and view the presentation. It was charming and quite a few steps back from a big city display but fun nonetheless. With no tripod handy I thought I would try handheld multiple exposures in 15 shot bursts. Not the traditional firework slow exposure shot but it worked fairly well.
Back to normal tomorrow.
