I’m going to have to pay up

I think those little ads on this site are annoying (especially since I don’t reap any benefits from them) so I plan on doing away with them soon. Most likely after the holidays, I plan on taking some time to upgrade my site and work on adding some galleries. The blog format isn’t a good way to showcase my work. What I’m not sure of is exactly what I want to do. I’m thinking of switching to more of an actual website with the blog being secondary but I don’t really want to stick with the “whatipic” name. Either way it’s going to cost me. If anyone can give guidance or suggestions feel free to drop me a line.

Of course, thinking about galleries and creating them are two different things. Most galleries I see on other photographers sites have distinct titles like, “landscape” or “Myanmar” and the images therein fit the categories. Trying to put my photos into categories is something I find very difficult. But I do want some kind of separation of the images and I don’t want to dumb it down by just going with “color”, or “black and white”. Looks like I have my work cut out for me (I’m full of idioms 😉 ).
