I see the snow has returned

The WordPress snow at least. It doesn’t bother me like it does some, and it’s only around for a month or so anyway. We all know that I don’t take myself seriously enough to think the “snow” is distracting from the importance of my blog. 😉

I’m still climbing the ladders of success though and I’ll soon make yet another announcement of acceptance of my work into publication.

It’s that time of year when I start weeding out the good from the bad in my photos from the year and selecting images that I believe have a fighting chance in the art world. I have some competitions coming up at the beginning of the year and dwindling down to a few choice photos to submit is, thankfully, a tough job.  It’s always a nice feeling to have a wide selection of images that I feel are good enough to compete in the tooth and claw artsy competitions. I will now spend my free time narrowing down my work and looking at the same images over and over and over again. And if anything like years past at the last minute I will grab a photo out of nowhere, figure, “what the hey, they just might like this”, and it will end up winning.

You can turn the snow off if it really bothers you. I don’t care for it on my blog, so I’ve unchecked the little box in my settings.

It’s no bother to me Carissa. It doesn’t last that long and besides, I like unexpected joy.
