Fan of B&W because I think it will never go away. It’s kind of like a lot of people saying, “I was looking in the ice box for some icre cream”. Most of those people have never even seen a real ice box even on TV. Yet, it is indelably etched into their sub concious. Also take the simple hammer type meat pounder; how many thousands of years has it been around? So my point is just that B&W photos are ingrained into our primal brain. Take away your sight and you begin to rely very hevily on your base senses. With the eyes, take away the color and the stark structure of the ‘Thing’ showes you it’s true essence.

Well said. I tend to look at subjects with a B&W eye anymore.
