365-57 Pittsburgh details

WordPress drives me crazy sometimes when I want to edit.  I changed a photo and all of my text disappeared! Anyhow, I made a brief visit through downtown today. I just got to walk around a block and take a few snaps. For my 365 shot, “Levels“, I shot with a telephoto to compress the perspective a bit. I liked the character and color of the buildings. As much as I like sleek modern cities, I also like older, sort of rundown places too. Lots of character. I’m going to try to get downtown a little bit more because I’m a fan of urban abstracts and I don’t get to try my hand at them much. All with Pentax K20D and DA55-300.

All of these are just wonderful! Lovely colours, shadows and contrasts.

Thank you. It’s the kind of photography I like to do but rarely get the opportunity.
