All I keep seeing is yellow flowers everywhere. They are nice and everything but some color variation would be pleasant on occasion. But I guess I can’t ask for much this time of year. That being said, I may as well take advantage of them and do a few “summery” shots before everything turns brown. I decided to do some experimenting with in camera multiple exposures and de-focusing. My 365 shot is just that, basically an out-of-camera shot. The next shot is a double exposure using the orton technique of de-focusing but something moved in between shoots and I ended with a bit of a “zoom” effect. Happy accident. The last shot is just a little friend who popped up to see what I was doing! Pentax K20D, DA 55-300.

That first shot is incredibly lovely. I don’t know anything about the orton technique. I shall look into it.
Thanks. I’ve been doing that technique for years on film but only discovered the name recently.
