I may as well stick to the seasonal theme today. October, fall, Halloween, or harvest – either way the overwhelming color is orange. Pumpkins, leaves, and sunsets all add to the “orangeness” of the season. I shot this dew covered spiderweb this morning and I originally thought to do a black and white image but, after a little experimentation, decided to tilt the color spectrum to the orange side during processing to enhance the seasonal warmth. Again, I layered in a few textures to add to the contrast a little. A little bit different but I like to change it up on occasion. Cheers! Pentax K20D, DA17-70.

I like this quite a bit, and am rather jealous of it. I have often taken pictures of spider webs (both with and without the spiders in them) and not one has ever turned out this magnificent, even with “photoshopping.”
Ha, thanks. If I was to try to get a traditional “good” spiderweb shot, I would probably fail miserably. That’s why I have to go WAY in the other direction 😉
This is exceptionally beautiful.
Thank you
Wow. This is simply amazing!
Thanks. Glad you like it.
