It was another day of traveling back to Charleston for work and being at work until nearly dark. Throw in simply being a bit tired from my wacky work schedule and it’s a recipe for disaster, photographically speaking. I absolutely couldn’t find much to shoot today. And what I did, I didn’t do well. I did get to shoot some weeds today because that is about all I saw of any interest. I added some texture overlays with my 365 shot to jazz it up a little. I really can’t remember if I shot these same kind of flowers before but I don’t think I used any for a daily shot. As for the milkweed photo, I kind of like it but I see where I could have done a little better on composition if I took, oh I don’t know, maybe an extra two seconds when shooting to compose. I guess that’s another one of my lessons – take your time! Pentax K20D, DA 55-300.

We all have those days, nice save!
Gorgeous processing! Love your style!
The top one reminds me of an old still-life that used to hang in my great grandmother’s home.
I love the texture detail on the bottom shot.
Love the milkweed. Actually, I like both images… Great stuff as usual.
