I was waiting for some fog to clear and frost to melt this morning at work when I found myself next to these large rolls of plastic. I liked how the morning sun was lighting the other side of the tube and created nice reflections on the black core. Since the rolls are 23′ long, selective focus was the key. For my 365 shot I focused on the plastic and for the other shot I zoomed in some and focused somewhere in the tube. I don’t think I have very many abstracts with circles since I usually focus on angles and lines, so a chance for something different. Pentax K20D, DA55-300.

Very nice. I really liked the first image and so did my wife. She seldom comments on blog posts but she actually spoke up that she liked today’s images.
Cool, cross appeal is always welcome!
Excellently creative with fantastic results!
Thanks AW. I’m a results oriented kind of guy.
