365-315 Darkness on the edge of town

It’s been a long day and seemed like a long week, so I’ll keep it short tonight. I spotted this truck in a back alley a few weeks ago and never had the opportunity to shoot it until today. I only had the chance to process a couple black and white, low key images for now. Pentax K20D, DA17-70

These are fabulous. I have been wondering lately how to do take high and low key shots for a personal challenge. This is some great inspiration!

Thanks Nathan. It’s easy doing low-key with a flat black truck! I’ve been wanting to do some low-key work for a while and I’m always thinking that when I’m looking around. Finding the right combination of light and subject has proved difficult though.
