365-316 Los cincuenta finales

The beginning of the end of my 365 project – the first of the final fifty images. It’s been fun but I can’t wait to take a break. Oh, I’ll keep shooting and posting, but probably closer to a few times a week, mostly if I have interesting images or stories. And I’ll keep dragging my camera around and trying to push myself to new heights…or lows. But I’ll also have time to vary my posts a few times and talk about gear a little more or music. Either way, stick around and see what happens!

Todays photo is a variation on something I saw and did today. I had dinner at a local Mexican restaurant that has a metal sculpture out front of a bizarre animal mariachi band. I snapped a couple of pics and added textures to one of the photos of a guitar detail. I liked the image but I felt like I was just showing someone elses artwork. Then I thought…”hmm, why don’t I just use my guitar? ” I set it on a chair, snapped a pic, added the textures and, mi propio arte! Pentax K20D, DA17-70

Thanks for visiting. Yeah that’s a 514ce. I’ve had it for a while. It works for me since I play a little of every style. Stick around, I’ll be talking about guitars and music more after my 365 is done.
