A simple black and white abstract today. I had to go into downtown Pittsburgh for an appointment (which I’ll elaborate on at a later time) and I shot this from the parking garage. It’s kind of a habit of mine when I park in city garages to look over the edge for a different perspective on the city below. This particular garage was set back from the street so I couldn’t look straight down on it and I had to compromise a little. Considering my current fascination with color I feel that this image is stronger in black and white. I would have prefered a little more separation of the cone but I was limited to where I could shoot from and things didn’t line up as I wanted. Processed with Nik Silver Efex and red filter to enhance the contrast. Pentax K20D, Da18-135

nice one!
Thanks Chloe
This made me laugh. With all those different arrows, it’s like no one knows know which way to go. 🙂 Love this! And hope your appointment went well also!
Thanks. I could spend days in the city walking around finding these kind of urban shots. The appointment went well, in my opinion at least.
Haha! Well seen!
