365-360 Counting down

It’s hard to believe I only have 5 more pictures to finish my 365. Seems like only….a year, since I started. 😉

Since I’m still on my holiday mental down time, I again didn’t put much effort into finding a photo today. But as the sun began to set, I thought it would be a good time to take a photo of the county courthouse with the Christmas tree lit up. Since it was a government holiday, and general day off for a lot of people, the downtown streets were basically empty. I went with a fairly straightforward shot, as there wasn’t much else you could do with the scene. I also did a wider shot, which I liked a little more, but it was way to similar to a shot I did of the building last spring, minus the tree of course. Snow would have been a nice touch to the scene and from the forecast I heard this evening I may have taken this shot a little prematurely, as snow is predicted for tomorrow. I guess I’ll just have to think of something else then. What a surprise. Pentax K20D, DA17-70.
