Another shot from the local county fair, this time using a combination of techniques. I started with a panned slow shutter shot of the carousel horse as it went by. During processing, I did a straight version but wondered what it would look like with some textures. For some reason I always want to add textures to carousel horse photos. 😉 I started to add numerous textures of various opacities and as I worked the image the color saturation and contrast kept getting higher and deeper. I could have corrected it and kept things subdued and “nostalgic” but I kind of liked the boldness of it and went with it. I called it “Flash”.
