I like todays picture. I’m not really sure why. It doesn’t offer much along the lines of subject matter – just some black cattle, scattered around the photo. It’s not necessarily a good composition. The image is kind of dark, in my opinion, but I wanted it that way. I wanted the black cattle to be black, just like they looked in person. Unfortunately the rest of the surroundings were roughly in the same tonal range, so getting any kind of separation took some doing during processing. The sky is kind of “bold”, I guess that’s one good thing. Was it all worth it? Who knows? All I know is that I like it…..for no apparent reason.
