Until I get back out there and do some shooting again I thought I would at least post an interim photo. I haven’t been able to shoot much the past week and with nothing new to present I went into my files of my most recent shoot and edited a few pics. This photo was one that I ignored at first and once I started to play around with it I began to like it. I was doing a slight crop to the photo when I thought a square crop fit the image so much better. After some contrast and color edits I also added an orton effect to soften the image without going the full “painterly” route. So, then you go, simple and to the point. I hope I’m not boring anyone with the water plant and flower images, but at least I haven’t got to the fall leaves shots yet! 😉
SO beautiful, David!
Thanks Karen!
Some very nice, and varied, colors in the lily pads and a nice reflection.
Thanks. I think the pads color variations make the shot
I love this one! Love the artsy flair to it and a new spin on Lilly pads 🙂 Nice shot and edits.
