365-123 Take green, add water

Surprise! It’s pouring down rain again today! Absolutely lovely!

The bright side is, I guess, that it’s not snow. So I thought I may as well take advantage of the rain and use it creatively. After running some errands, my wife and I stopped for a drive-through dinner and parked my truck under a tree at the corner of the parking lot. The rain was heavy almost non-stop the whole time we were there. After ‘dinner” I noticed a branch hanging near the corner of the windshield and thought I would try a few shots using the rain running down the glass to distort. I then took a couple of shots out of the side window of some leaves with a grassy blurred background. Of course I wasn’t able to take any sharp detailed shots through the wet windows but I like the look of these. I’ll throw in a shot I took of some leaves after the rain let up with the window down, just for reference. All with Pentax K20D and DA55-300.
