365-236 Accidental theme

I know I spoke of wanting to do a set of photos with a theme but that’s not what I planned for today. I didn’t get out until late to take any photos but it was still sunny and clear and I really didn’t feel like taking any normal photos. So I thought I would go to a nearby park with a lake and wooded paths to try some experimental shots. I like to practice moving camera techniques on occasion so I can at  least know what can and cannot work in certain situations so I can streamline my trial and error methods. The woods at the park are dark enough usually and because I waited until early evening they were really dark.  I was getting 2 to 3 second exposures without any help from ND filters. The only problem with shooting in the woods is that even though all of the photos are different they still end up looking very similar, especially when you start blurring the details. So while I was shooting I was thinking of doing texture overlays during post processing. I, again, used SkeletalMess textures for the bulk of the layers because I have plenty of them to choose from to go in practically any direction I want. While working on the images I decide to push a little further than what I would normally do with textures. These kind of go beyond photography, or good taste for that matter, into another realm. I have to know when to stop and sometimes I second guess myself on the final take. It’s a long year and I have to mix it up. All original shots with Pentax K20D and DA 17-70 (I think).
