I just found myself shooting a bunch of old things today. Besides the door, which is I saw in an urban environment, everything else was taken at an outdoor display area at a local antique store. the store was closed and the items were behind a locked fence so getting any kind of composition was difficult at best. I stuck with a general low-key, monochrome look to most of the shots. I went back and forth on the hand mixer detail because there was some nice color in the original but I thought it was graphically stronger in b&w. B&W conversions with Nik Silver Efex and Topaz Black and white. Pentax K20D, DA 55-300.

Great pictures! I just would have prefered if they had all the same tone of colors. Otherwise, there are some really nce deatils! I particularely love the door!
Thanks Nicolas. I do have a habit of processing too many different ways at times but I agree with you.
Yeah, I understand, I am exactly the same. Always telling me that I should note somewhere the settings of my post processing, but always to lazy. And that’s a shame, when you want to put all your pics in one set…
