The last time my blog was featured in Freshly Pressed, I didn’t have a photo yet for the day after I realized I was getting lots of exposure. I felt pressured to give the new visitors something worthy to view. I think I did OK at that time and eventually things settled back to normal. Well I’ve been featured again today with my “An Olympus in Huntington” post. The difference this time is that I already had a picture taken before I discovered the feature, so I didn’t really feel any pressure. Plus it’s a week old post and I’ve had a few other posts since that one, with some decent photos.
I don’t know if todays photo is decent or not but I do find it kind of humorous. Santa just looks like he lost his keys or something. It’s a bit of a grab shot, I just pulled my car over in a parking lot across the street and took a few snaps. In all honesty, I should have gotten out of the car and composed a little better, but for a “street” photo it’s not too bad. I know it’s a little early for a Christmas theme photo but they like to get a jump on things around here. Pentax K20D, DA18-135

Being that it’s a holiday weekend in the USA, my text and descriptions may be a little light for a few days. Hopefully I’ll still find some interesting things to shoot without resorting to turkey photos. 😉 But either way, I want to welcome any new viewers and subscribers and of course give thanks to everyone that has been visiting and commenting since I’ve started this blog. Your encouraging words and feedback are very much appreciated and make me want to push myself that much harder.
Great pic!
