Crickets chirping….

…..is what I hear around here lately. It’s been a bit lonely with the lack of visitors but I have no one to blame but myself. My photography output is way down since last years 365 project. Plus I find that, without the pressure of having to do a daily photo, I don’t push myself to get out there and shoot. I have been a bit lapse in my creativity due mostly to the transition into a new job and my mindset that I shot all there is to shoot around where I live. Of course none of those are good excuses, since I know from experience that when I just get out and apply myself I can come up with some good photos. Either way I know I need to kick myself and put a little more effort into creating and posting if I want to make it interesting for people to take the time and visit.

Regardless, thanks for coming by. I really do appreciate all of my readers and subscribers and I hope to post some more interesting work in the near future.

Until then, I’ll leave you with a bit of a processing experiment. I know it strays a bit from a “photographic” image but I was in the mood for a different take on a normal scene. The straight image was pleasant but was shot as just one of a number of camera test photos I took yesterday. None of them were meant to be art, they were taken just for me to get an idea of the cameras abilities.

    That’s beautiful. Sorry. I know that’s a lame comment but that’s all I got.

I like it! What did you do to it?

Thanks. I used Topaz Adjust “blueprint” setting for this, with a few minor tweaks, nothing fancy.
