T is for tree

Just a couple of tree photos I took over the last few days. I’m not overly happy with them, mostly because I didn’t take the time to study the scenes. I was thinking too “normal” when I was shooting.  It was only afterwards, when viewing the images on the computer, that I spotted way better compositions that I totally missed. Sigh. Live and learn. I used Nik Silver Efex for the split tone conversions and a green filter to lighten the leaves and grass for better contrast.

I recently was in a “tree stand” and didn’t think about composition either. When I got home and saw my “snapshots” of our camping trip I then saw the photo I should of shot.
