Just testing the Leica Summilux 25mm f1.4

I got my hands on a Leica Summilux 25mm 1:1.4 lens for my GX1 and I’m giving it a go for a few days. It sure has exceptional image quality, super sharp – even wide open, although I don’t think I’m going to do it any real justice by just shooting around town. I can think of a few scenarios where this lens would come in handy but I need to decide if they are frequent enough to warrant a purchase. Nonetheless I’ll post a few shots in the next few days taken exclusively with this lens.

For the first shot, if you’re using a Leica (or at least a Leica designed) lens, you may as well shoot wide open and show the bokeh!

The berries seem to glow! Nice rim light!

It was great lighting, too bad I didn’t have much to shoot to take advanatge of it.
