I would have liked to keep both of these shots the same for consistency, either color or black and white, but they each worked better in separate mediums. The door knob looked best in black and white as the door was painted a dark olive green, which didn’t look too exciting. The second shot of the doorbell looked best in color because of the warm tones of the wood. There you have it!!

      Thanks. They’re not too exciting photographically but, yes, the textures are somewhat interesting.

      Yeah, I’m probably guilty of shooting it too often though.
