Trees seem to work

In my continuing multi-exposure experiments I have come to the conclusion that trees seem to work best for the technique. I was out in the park today and tried to incorporate other elements into the photos but I found that things with harder, straighter edges don’t seem to work as well. Also I need to be somewhat of a distance from the subject because things closer to the camera just get a jittery look to them. But that’s what this type of experimenting is for, to find what works and what doesn’t. Now that I know what kind of scenario works best, I’ll just keep my eye out for it when I am out shooting.

For something different from the last few shots and to add a little more graphic feel, I did a black and white conversion with todays photo. This is an in camera multi-exposure of 9 images. I ran the image through Topaz for the hard edge vignette and black and white conversion. This almost looks like a charcoal drawing to me. The multi-exposures also create an almost canvas type texture which I like because it saves me the time of adding textures in processing! 🙂

Thank you. The multi exposure does add an interesting paper-like texture

    A bit creepy and Halloween-y!
