I feel like this leaf

I guess I picked a good week to take vacation. With this being the fifth rainy day in the row, I’m getting a little soggy. I canceled some plans to get work done on my house because it’s a bit too wet, so that left me with not much to do. With the exception of the hard core hurricane induced rains on Monday it has been tolerable though and my wife and I have been trying to act normal by still going out and about. I say tolerable but in reality it’s getting really old.

Now photography-wise I know that rainy weather can yield some good shots, especially urban scenes, but I haven’t made it into the city yet this week. And I really don’t feel like slogging through some muddy fields so nature photos are not on my radar. My camera is weather resistant but I’m not. I think I’ll try to stay dry for now.
