Wow, time flies when you’re not posting!
I haven’t posted in a week mostly because I haven’t taken any photographs. A few snaps here and there but not much of any value. And I am not really sure if this photo is any value but I do like the scene. The colors in the original were all muted, basically a dull winters day, so I thought about playing around with the color temps but decided black and white is the way to go here.
A very busy scene, to be sure, but, in my opinion, it takes on an almost etching look when converted to monochrome. All of the texture and detail actually work together to convey the mood of a cold day at the pond. Or not. 🙂
