I am not usually a fan of phone photography. Personally I use mine more as a notepad device than an artistic instrument – taking photos of items that I may need for reference at a later time. However I do take a lot of documentation photos for my job during my typical workday and on occasion I grab a shot of things I come across that I find interesting in an artsy way.
It takes me about two seconds on the iPhone to run a photo through Photo Toaster to add some effects and borders. I think cell phone photos need extra “filtering” because, lets face it, they’re not exactly top-notch cameras. I’m not an Instagram fan though. I have it on my phone but rarely use it and I don’t want to instantly share everything I shoot anyway. But I think cell phone photos need extra “filtering” because, lets face it, they’re not exactly top-notch cameras.
So while going through some photo files at work I came across a few images that I “created” and I figured I would share them here. I believe all of these are with the iPhone 4S. Not that it really matters.
iPhone filters can be fun, though. 🙂 I like these.
Thanks Carissa. Fun is always fun!
